The central themes of my paintings are humanity and nature, particularly the struggles, flourishing, and decay of the human mind and body, with an undertone of decadence. I strive to create visually and emotionally powerful paintings that challenge viewers to contemplate deeper meanings and evoke emotions. My paintings reflect my identity as a woman and an artist, my relationship with others, and nature. My experiences and memories inspire me, and I express the feelings that arise from them, which can also be universal. On the other hand, nature is an element that surrounds and protects humanity—a source of energy, light, and life. While the erotic charge shimmers on the skin of the bodies in my paintings with glowing colors, the possibility of decadence is evident in the postures of the bodies and the fragmented brushstrokes, manifesting as feelings of emptiness, transience, and revelry.

My artistic work begins with inspiration, reflection, and an interactive hermeneutic painting process. I capture potential subjects through photography, drawing, painting, and journaling about the thoughts that come to mind. This approach raises new questions and insights, advancing my artistic process. I depict the complexity and ambiguity of the body and mind by painting suggestively and abstracting representational elements. My paintings are dreamlike, condensed situations where time and place intertwine, simultaneously concealing and revealing. In the painting process, I aim to capture movement within the painting, where content, form, and color palette engage in dialogue, creating an image, atmosphere, and meaning.
